Veterans: Help for Heroes

The Vanderburgh Humane Society’s newest program offers assistance to veterans with pets in the Evansville region. Pets enrich our lives and benefit our mental health, and we’re here to help veterans and their pets stay happy & healthy – together at home! Available services include:

• Dog & cat distemper vaccines
• Flea & tick prevention
• Spay/neuter assistance
• Microchip with national registration
• Pet food
• Technical assistance with appointment scheduling, forms, transportation when available, etc.
